Geek Girl Con Logo
A logo I created for a new convention – Geek Girl Con – scheduled for 2011, which will focus on celebrating the role of women in geek-dom. The goal here was to create a professional-looking logo which showed women as strong, independent and just as tuned-in to geek culture as their male counterparts. The organizers were looking for something that struck a delicate balance, featuring attractive characters without being hypersexualized.
The logo was received by the community with overwhelming approval, which is always a nice feeling.

Adam, this is so close to what we’e seeking for our reality show project that it’s unreal!
Our logo must have girls who are headstrong and sexy but not sleazy. They’re breaking new ground so it’s important that they, like yours, aren’t seen in a bad light.
I can’t wait to talk more.
